DIVA'S STORY
Diva Sushi Roll is a young lady whose survived in the shelter for the last 2 years! Due to housing instability, her previous owner didn’t have the means to keep her, so she became a shelter veteran!
Diva is a bully mix at 6 years old and 62lbs (she’s on a diet though!) she’s a low rider who loves her walks - even though she can’t walk too far without getting short of breath! Her favorite things are to chew on balls and get leashed for walkies! She is friendly with the other dogs but learning how to be properly socialized in large groups and parks.
At home, she has a foster brother (Hippo the staffy) whom she is very kind and friendly with. She does have some slight guarding that we are working on her with when it comes to sharing. Has no bite history. Has not been tested with small kids or cats. Diva was said to be nervous and picky around men but we have not seen any signs of such behavior since pulling her and stabilizing her at home. Diva Sushi Roll was rescued by Canine Rescue Club from West La animal shelter.
